The 15 Minute Child Break

Presented by the Partnership for a Drug Free NJ
Statistics show that children who have meals with adults at home are less likely to use drugs. In fact, by having just one meal a day with your child, you could decrease the likelihood that he or she will try marijuanna by up to two-thirds.  Join the 15 Minute Child Break Presentation and spend an hour learning how to talk to your kids about drugs and alcohol.

This week at the library: Children, Teens, and Tweens

We've got some great programs this week. Tomorrow--and every Tuesday this month--we have Book Babies at 10:30.

On Wednesday, Italian for Kids continues at 4:30.

Tweens and teens age 11 and up are invited to a Crafternoon on Thursday the 4th at 2:00. Teens are also invited to a meeting of our Teen Advisory Board at 6:30. We will be working on a variety of crafts at each event.

Stop by Saturday morning from 10:30-11:30 for our last ever Paws for Reading program. I know, I know, it's tragic! Share a final story with Annie, our very favorite pup.

Keep an eye out for Mammal Mania later in the month (April 27 at 1:00 to be exact), when your little ones will have an opportunity to meet some real, live animals from around the world!
