Pumpkin Science was Oozing with Fun!

On Friday, October 24th the Fairfield Library hosted a Halloween science program - complete with Jack-O-Lanterns! Using some simple household ingredients, we mixed up a special experiment to create an oozing chemical reaction.

Kids had so much fun making this bubbling brew and learning about reactions! If you missed out, don't worry. In November, we will be creating another experiment - with candy! Check out our newsletter, Facebook page, and website for more information.

Fireman Joe Storytime

Fall means red colors and one very cool red thing is a firetruck! Bring your young child tomorrow to the library to experience a fun and interactive story time with our very own Fireman Joe. He is so nice he will be wearing his Halloween costume, a fireman outfit, and will tell us all how to prevent fires, and escape safely in the event of a fire.

We can't wait to have him here! Stop by at 10:30 for the story time and be sure to bring a sweater in case it is chilly when we go out to look at the firetruck!
